I’ve been a professional footballer for 21 years, making over 750 league appearances and scoring over 245 league goals.

I played most of my career football at Championship level for teams including Hull City; York City; Hibernian FC; Crewe Alexandra; Brentford; Birmingham City; Sheffield UTD; Bolton wanderers; Bradford City, and now at Gainsborough Trinity, where I play and Coach.
I’m a qualified UEFA B coach, and I’m near the end of my UEFA A license, which will be completed around July 2023.
I’ve been managed by some well-experienced managers along the way – including Peter Taylor; John Collins; Harry redknapp; Uwe Rosler, and Gary Rowett.
I’ve also played international football for Jamaica, playing in World Cup qualifiers and Copa América against the like of Suarez, Sanchez, and Cavani.

I was a kid that just loved football and was willing to put the time and effort in. I never really played for a team growing up other than school football, but I was training three-to-four times a week with my dad, who helped me to hone my skills and abilities.
This is where young players go wrong; they play for a team that’s being trained as a team instead of individuals. It’s important for young footballers to train and improve individually because teams don’t get professional contracts, but individuals do.
Having made it as a professional footballer, I know what it takes to be successful in this industry. Now, I want to pass my knowledge on to the next generation of young talent.
